Glynn Visual Arts is pleased to announce its seventh annual Mistletoe Market. This fine art and gift market has become a mainstay of the Golden Isles’ holiday festivities. “This year, we expect over 60 accomplished artists and artisans offering a wide variety of high quality artwork including two-dimensional art, pottery, jewelry, sculpture, photography, woodworking, baskets, fabric and mixed media.” said festival director Barb Scragg. “This show is a unique combination of fine art, wonderful gifts, good food, entertainment, and family fun in a festive island holiday atmosphere. It is the perfect opportunity for residents and visitors alike to find that one-of-a-kind purchase or gift for the holiday season. As an added bonus, when you buy something handmade, purchased directly from the artist, you are supporting small business and our local community.” Scragg continued.
Holiday Hound Hike Pooch Parade
Dog lover? Don’t miss our local pooches (and sometimes potbellied pigs!) all dressed up in their holiday best and putting on a parade to celebrate the season at the festival. Line-up starts at 10:30am on Saturday and parade starts at 11:00am sharp! There is a $10 fee to participate.
Just for the kids
The Kid’s Creation Station hosted by Glynn Visual Arts celebrates the smallest artists with free holiday themed craft activities during the festival.
Live music from some of our favorite local performers!
For the third year, our local knitters will be turning Postell Park into its own work of art! Throughout the year they have been working away and will reveal their beautiful work at the opening of the festival. The colorful decorations will remain in the park for the month of December.
Saturday, December 2 (10:00am - 5:00pm)
Sunday, December 3 (10:00am - 5:00pm)
