SouthEast Adventure Outfitters is coastal Georgia's outdoor headquarters. Kayak tours, boating, fishing, and exploring the beautiful Golden Isles with visitors and residents is their passion and specialty. Since 1994, daily kayak tours have introduced thousands to the wonderful waterways of coastal Georgia. SouthEast Adventure Outfitters provides group tours for schools, boys and girls scouts, businesses, and family and friends. Shorter daily tours include 2 and 3 hour trips timed on the tides and geared for beginners or advanced paddlers. The shorter daily tours are great introductions to the exceptional richness and beauty of the Golden Isles.
The headquarters for SouthEast Adventure Outfitters is located on St. Simons Island in the historic Pier Village area and is open daily from 10:00am - 6:00pm. The SouthEast Adventure Outfitters shop carries a wide range of outdoor clothing, gear, and accessories from vendors such as KAVU, Eno Hammocks, The North Face, Five Fingers, and Merrell. The shop also sells maps and charts of the coastal Georgia waterways.
SouthEast Adventure Outfitters also sells kayaks and standup paddles boards made by well known manufacturers at its Brunswick Boathouse location. The private dock at this location provides the opportunitiy to test out this fun water gear before your purchase.
From the spectacular Village Creek Landing on St. Simons, SouthEast Adventure Outfitters also offers daily nature boat tours and fishing charters. Their comfortable, well outfitted deck boat takes up to 6 passengers on a leisurely cruise throughout the marshes between St. Simons, Sea Island, and Little St. Simons. Featured in the the Spring 2011 Lands' End catalog, this is one of the most beautiful nearby areas to visit.
