Beginning Drawing Class

A Dynamic 4 Week Course in Drawing Fundamentals

2/2, 2/9 & 2/16 | 6-8 pm

This set of 3 classes (2 hours each) will teach attendees how to “see” as an artist sees, and how to transcribe images onto paper using timeless and infallible drawing techniques. Teaching and lessons will focus on the underlying structure necessary for all successful representational images, thus empowering artists to intuitively “break the rules” with success. We will begin initial sketch work in graphite pencil and progress to fully dimensional drawings in graphite. All skill levels and artistic disciplines will find these principles useful; however, no prior or recent experience is necessary. Everything you learn in this class can be applied to other media.
