March 16 at 2 pm, Richard Zemeckis’ 2007 3D computer-animated adaptation of Beowulf will be shown.   Based on the Old English epic poem, the warrior Beowulf must fight and defeat the monster Grendel, who is terrorizing Denmark, and later, Grendel's Mother, who begins killing out of revenge.

Join Golden Isles Arts & Humanities at one or all of our NEA Big Read movies in March!   All screenings will take place at the Historic Ritz Theatre in downtown Brunswick and screenings are free.  Free popcorn courtesy of Compass360 Realty will also be provided at some of the screenings.  Only a limited number of seats will be available to accommodate safe distancing in the auditorium, so patrons are encouraged to make a reservation ahead of time by calling 912.262.6934 or emailing info@goldenislesarts.org
