Fort Frederica Living History Festival

Once, Frederica thrived with the hustle and bustle of an industrious colonial settlement. Then war, decline and abandonment silenced this young town. Now, soldiers and settlers walk the streets of Frederica again. Muskets and cannons roar amid rumors of a Spanish invasion. Frederica is back to life; and this time, you’re invited.

Join us for living history portrayals of typical colonial crafts like weaving, dyeing, blacksmithing and candle-making. Watch soldiers fire their muskets and cannons, and let your children play games like our ancestors did! All are welcome, and this event is free.
