Georgia State Adult/Senior Open Championship

This is a USTA National Adult Level 5 tournament for Adults 18&over players.  This tournament is open for Adult players regardless of ranking. You will receive an automated email if your player is selected, and your credit card is charged.  Players must return to the tournament page to view the draw and confirm their match times.

DRAWS

The draw and match schedule will be posted by 6 p.m. on the Thursday prior to the tournament start date.  

MATCH FORMAT - FICQ

Singles and Doubles: All players will play at least two matches with the First Match Loser's consolation match format. Main draw and consolation match scoring is 2 sets with a 10-pt match tiebreak at one set all. 3rd and 4th place playoffs. Groups of 3 or less players will play in a round robin format.

POINTS PER WIN

This tournament carries with it USTA National Level 5 points per round. Please click here for the point tables. 

PLAYER SELECTION & SEEDING

This tournament will use the most recent Singles or Doubles Standing List for player selection and for seeding. NTRP events will use the most up to date NTRP ratings. WTN will also be considered in making the seeding.

WITHDRAWALS & REFUND POLICY

Before the deadline, withdraw on USTA.com in the My Schedules tab on your profile with no charge. After the registration deadline, email the tournament director. Refunds are only available for players who do not complete a match due to inclement weather or cancellation of the tournament. If there is a refund, it would be minus the fixed costs of the tournament. Note: the Serve Tennis fee is non-refundable.

LATE ENTRY

If draws are not full, late entries can be accepted. Late entries may be accepted or placed on the alternate list, even if the draw is full, in the order received after entries received by the deadline. Entries received at the same time are ordered randomly. If the draw has been made, the Tournament Committee may accept only late entries of players who do not invalidate the seeding. Tournament Directors may charge an additional $10 for a late entry.
