Campers are invited to learn more about the game of golf. Camp sessions are grouped by skill level, and feature daily instruction from Jekyll Island Golf Club Professional staff paired with fun skills challenges or on-course play based on each day's topic. Concepts covered include putting, chipping, pitching, full swing, etiquette, and rules.
All Golf Camps include 20 hours of instruction, a visit to Summer Waves Water Park during camp, daily lunch offered by Larry's Giant Subs, one reusable water bottle, one official camp shirt, and a commemorative pin.
Level One FUNdamentals
Who: Beginning golfers, ages 6-12
When: June 18-22, 9.a.m.-2 p.m. and July 9-13, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Level Two Advanced
Who: Campers comfortable playing on the golf course, all ages
When: July 23-27, 9 a.m.-2 p.m.
Where: Jekyll Island Golf Club
Cost: $280 per camper, per week
Registration includes: Five full days of camp, camp T-shirt, camp water bottle, commemorative pin, daily boxed lunch, and a one-time visit to Summer Waves Water Park
