Golden Isles Arts & Humanities and Glynn Visual Arts are proud to announce the first annual Halloween Monster Mash Bash, a joint fundraiser for the two arts organizations. This fun-filled "spook-tac-ular" evening will take place on Saturday, October 13, 2018 from 6 pm to 9 pm at the American Legion Hall at Gascoigne Bluff.
Guests should come dressed in their most creative costume and be ready to enjoy a Halloween themed night with music for dancing, delicious fall-themed heavy hors'douerves catered by Tasteful Temptations, a Witch's brew, cash bar, and a costume contest where the winner will take home a cash prize!
Glynn Visual Arts and Golden Isles Arts & Humanities are partnering to not only bring a great event to the community but to help spread the value and impact of the arts on residents and visitors in the Golden Isles. "We are working together because we believe that all the arts play a vital role in developing a vibrant community," said Heather Heath, excecutive director of Golden Isles Arts & Humanities. Susan Ryles, Glynn Visual Arts executive director, agrees. "By coming together, we want to show our community the commitment we have to providing the best in arts programming and all that each organization has to offer."
In addition to the two organizations, some wonderful individuals are helping host the event: Dixie & Roger Baucom, Laura & Greer Brown, Sue & Chuck Cansler, Jan & Martin Carriker, Michele & Tim Jamieson, Lila & Russ Magbee, Betty & Robert Oliver, Pam & Gary Rosemond, Ann & Wallace Tillman, and Debra & David Wright.
