Sandy Loaf Corgi Club is hosting a Beach Day! This is a day where corgis gather on the beach with their humans and enjoy making new friends! Are you a loaf? Are you a loaf lover? Come join the Sandy Loaf Corgi Club for some good times frapping on the beach!

What is Sandy Loaf Beach Day?
It's a day where corgis gather on the beach with their humans and enjoy the sun, sand, and ocean!
Are there any special events?
Yes, more details are to come, but we will be having a corgi race, limbo, and a costume contest!
Do I need to bring my dog's vaccination records?
Please bring your dog's vaccination records whenever you travel with them! We will not require any kind of submission of records or registration, but if your dog is acting strangely, we will ask for them. If your dog gets injured (for example, as a result of rough play at the beach) and you need to visit a veterinarian, you are required to have vaccine records.
What about hotels?
There are a lot of pet-friendly hotels on St. Simons Island! There are also plenty of pet friendly AirBnBs in the area as well, if you have a friend coming (or wanna make a new friend!!!), consider splitting an AirBnB with someone 🙂
Is my dog allowed off-leash?
Yes, dogs are allowed off-leash. In fact, this event used to be held on Jekyll Island but is being held on St Simons Island specifically because Jekyll Island stopped allowing dogs to be off-leash on the beach!
Where, exactly, will we be?
It is being held on St. Simons Island, Georgia. We will be on East Beach near the 1st Street beach access point. There is a parking lot at that beach entrance. Look out for corgi signs from the parking lot!
Are other dog breeds besides corgis allowed?
Of course, always! You can even come if you don't have a dog at all!
Is having this event legal?
All boxes are checked! Permission has been granted by St. Simons Island government as well as the Parks & Recreation department. They are thrilled to have us back again this year! Please help us by following all the beach rules, including picking up your trash (and other trash, if you see any). We made a great impression last year and want to keep it up!
Is St. Simons Island dog-friendly?
Yes, there are many dog-friendly restaurants and hotels. Most of them will be aware of this event and will welcome you!
