On Tuesdays from 10 a.m. to noon, volunteer Storytellers are at the World War II Home Front Museum sharing their memories of serving abroad and on the Home Front during World War II. Museum visitors will hear personal accounts of the war years including working on Liberty ships, what it was like to be in the Battle of the Bulge as an Army Combat Engineer, serving stateside in Navy hospitals, scrapping for the war effort, and working in the J.A. Jones Shipyard. Come visit the Museum and talk with these incredible individuals. If you or someone you know would like to take part in our Storytellers program and share memories of World War II on the Home Front or abroad, please contact Kim Campbell, Museum Site Manager, at (912) 634-7091.
