Embark on this educational experience on Jekyll Island. Uncover the story of America's last know slave ship, the Wanderer. The trail can be found alongside the Jekyll River. This is where the ship docked 160 years ago. The trail takes you through the story of a young African boy named Umawalla, who was brought to America on the Wanderer. Follow Umwalla's journey through interactive exhibits on the trail.
