Restaurant Updates

As COVID-19 continues to have impacts to our Golden Isles community, the CVB is working diligently to keep an updated list of all restaurants in the area. Below you will find a list of our beloved restaurants that are offering modified services, take out, curbside services, delivery, family-style meals and more. Select one of these options from the category dropdown menu to filter businesses according to your search.

In a Special Called Meeting on March 25, the Glynn County Board of Commissioners passed an Executive Order that went into effect March 26 that no longer allows restaurants to serve food on premises. Restaurants must only offer take out, delivery, drive thur or curbside service orders. Unopened bottles of beer and wine are allowed for take out, but not delivery. Read the full press release here. In his press conference on March 23, Governor Kemp announced an executive order to close all bars and nightclubs effective noon March 24, 2020 through noon April 6, 2020. Several restaurants have made the difficult decision to cease all operations temporarily. A list of these restaurants is also available below.

The CVB strongly encourages our residents and visitors in the area to support our local restaurants and businesses. With so many wonderful options and new offerings, we hope you will take advantage of the restaurants serving our community. We also encourage you to support any restaurants that have temporarily closed by purchasing gift certificates for later use, by planning to dine with them when they reopen, or simply by providing words of encouragement and support during their temporary closure.

Please be mindful of federally mandated social distancing guidelines, practice proper hygiene and take care of yourselves and others.

And if you currently aren't in the Golden Isles, we hope you're still daydreaming about your favorite St. Simons Island, Jekyll Island and Brunswick restaurants!
