The court is open Monday through Friday 8:30 am to 4:00 pm.
What do I need to bring with me to get a marriage license?
To obtain a marriage certificate, both parties wishing to enter in the marriage must go to the Glynn County Probate court with the following:
- A state and/or government issued photo ID, which includes a date of birth.
- Final Divorce Decree and/or Death Certificate (if either party has been married previously).
- $70.00 paid via cash, credit card, money order, cashiers check or local check. This fee can also be paid online.
Parties under the age of 18 must also bring a current copy of their birth certificate. Minors must bring both parents, who will be required to show their own state and/or government issued photo ID and sign a parental consent form.
*According to Georgia marriage laws, no one under the age of 16 can get married in the state of Georgia.
