Established in 1953, Glynn Visual Arts (GVA) is a non-profit 501(c)3 organization serving as the community's VISUAL ARTS CENTER. It is supported by donations from members, visual artists, and patrons. The Glynn Visual Arts' mission is to promote and encourage creative expression within our community with an emphasis on the visual arts. The Glynn Visual Art Gallery is located at 106 Island Drive (one block from Demere off Skylane Road). Glynn Visual Arts recognized the importance of the visual arts to everyday life and is resolved to work toward fulfilling the vision of education and the creation of a strong cultural climate while providing the community and visitors with opportunities to advance their knowledge, appreciation, and participation in the creative experience.  exhibits, lectures, studio classes, field trips, and workshops for everyone, from children to the retired. Glynn Visual Art's gallery exhibits oil, watercolor acrylic, and mixed media paintings; etchings; photography; pottery; sculpture; jewelry; basketry; fiber and decorative arts. GVA is not funded by the state or county government. It relies solely on its members, sales of artworks, festivals, and special events. Please consider becoming a member or donating. Both are tax-deductible.

  • Description Two large adjoining rooms (gallery & classroom) for receptions totaling approximately 1200 square feet. Space can hold approx. 100+ standing for a reception, approx. 40-50 seated lecture style, 20ish for classroom seating with workspace for each student.
