Located at the end of the Ben Fortson Parkway on North Beachview Drive, the Great Dunes Park has plenty of parking to access Jekyll Island’s beach. This park is conveniently located across the street from a playground, mini-golf course, bike rentals, Segway rentals and is a great place to setup day camp for a day trip to Jekyll Island. Park at Great Dunes Park, rent bikes across the street and explore over 20 miles of bike trails that the Jekyll Island Trail System has to offer. This park is also frequently used as the site to release rehabilitated sea turtles from the Georgia Sea Turtle Center located just across the island as well as the site for many annual events and festivals. Great Dunes Park offers picnic pavilions, grills, a covered beach deck, public restrooms, large grass area, bike racks and access to Jekyll Island’s beach.

*This beach features a wheelchair mat or ramp. Please be aware the mat or ramp may not always reach hard-packed sand due to the variation of tides throughout each day.
