Horton Pond

Horton Pond is a wildlife viewing area situated off North Beachview Drive on Jekyll Island. This secluded spot is perfect for catching a glimpse of the natural beauty that surrounds Jekyll Island. The site is a habitat for a variety of wildlife including turtles, fish, alligators and birds with wheelchair accessible viewing platforms that have been installed for easy viewing access for all. Around the pond is also a 0.7 mile nature trail called "Tupelo Trail" which provides great scenic views of the pond and its surrounding wooded areas.
