Brunswick First Friday — First Friday of Each Month (March–June)
Kick off the weekend in Historic Downtown Brunswick at Brunswick First Friday, a lively monthly celebration held on the first Friday of each month. This free, family-friendly event transforms Newcastle and Gloucester Streets into a vibrant hub of live music, local art, shopping, and coastal dining. Step back in time at Revolution on the Coast, a special 250th celebration of America’s Revolutionary War history in the Golden Isles. Christ Church Frederica Annual Tour of Homes — March 14, 2026
One of the Golden Isles’ most beloved spring traditions, the Christ Church Tour of Homes invites visitors to explore exquisite Sea Island residences and their gardens, many usually closed to the public. This annual event also includes historic tours of Christ Church Frederica’s campus and opportunities to enjoy refreshments and community fellowship.
CoastFest — March 21, 2026
Celebrate the unique ecology and heritage of Coastal Georgia at CoastFest. This family-friendly festival features interactive exhibits, touch tanks, educational activities, and live entertainment that highlight local wildlife, water conservation, native plants, and outdoor stewardship.
Turtle Crawl Run & Beach Fun Run — April 25, 2026
Support coastal conservation at the annual Turtle Crawl Run, a Jekyll Island event benefiting the Georgia Sea Turtle Center. Choose from the competitive 5K or 10K beach and road races or join the mile-fun run. Runners and spectators alike enjoy beautiful ocean views while contributing to sea turtle protection efforts.
Art in the Park Fine Art Festival — April 11–12, 2026
Held in the live oak-shaded Postell Park on St. Simons Island, the Art in the Park Fine Art Festival presents the work of more than 60 artists and artisans. Visitors can browse original paintings, jewelry, ceramics, sculpture, textiles, metalwork, and more while soaking in an open-air creative atmosphere.
Georgia Tribute Festival — April 16–19, 2026
A weekend of music and entertainment at Brunswick’s Historic Ritz Theatre, the Georgia Tribute Festival honors musical legends including Elvis Presley along with classic and country performers. Expect fun for all ages with live shows, local hospitality, and a celebration of musical heritage.
Blessing of the Fleet — May 10, 2026
One of the oldest and most cherished coastal traditions, the Blessing of the Fleet celebrates Brunswick’s maritime heritage and the shrimping industry. The Mother’s Day weekend festival features a decorated shrimp boat parade, ceremonial blessing, live music, arts and crafts, seafood, family activities, and waterfront festivities.

Taps at Twilight — May 26, 2026
Taps at Twilight is a cherished Memorial Day tradition in the Golden Isles that brings the community together in Neptune Park on St. Simons Island to honor the men and women who have served and sacrificed for our country. The free outdoor program, presented by the St. Simons Rotary Club, features patriotic music, an honor guard, wreath presentation, and culminates with the solemn bugle call of “Taps” as twilight falls.
Taste of Gullah — June 2026 (Date TBA)
Celebrate the rich cultural traditions, music, and cuisine of the Gullah-Geechee community at Taste of Gullah, an immersive event on St. Simons Island. Enjoy live music, traditional coastal dishes, storytelling, and performances at Village Creek Landing while supporting the St. Simons African American Heritage Coalition.
