Island Dive Center

In 1978 Judy Wright was certified as a YMCA Scuba Instructor and in 1980 as a PADI Scuba Instructor. After teaching for numerous years, she opened Island Dive Center on St Simons. Routine operations of the 5 Star PADI Dive Center include snorkeling and scuba lessons, sales and service of primarily Scubapro equipment, sale inflatable kayaks, paint ball and scuba cylinder air fills, local dive charters, escorted excursions to Florida, Bahamas, West Indies, Caribbean and beyond. The PADI Travel Network affords the dive center the opportunity to book individual and groups for travels around in the world. Snorkeling lessons are offered in the pool. Local snorkeling excursions are limited to freshwater lakes. In 2011 Island Dive Center opened a gift shop. Did you know that you can begin your SCUBA class on-line.
