Frequently Asked Questions

Please browse the below frequently asked questions, or contact a member of our Golden Isles CVB partnership team with any additional questions.

Who is considered a partner of the Golden Isles CVB?

All businesses within the Golden Isles tourism industry are considered partners of the Convention & Visitors Bureau. The CVB is an organization that embraces and encourages partnerships with businesses and residents alike. The CVB offers four tiers of paid partnerships that provide our partners with marketing and referral benefits. If you are unsure which partnership level you currently hold or would like to become a paid partner, please contact us

What are the benefits of participating in the Golden Isles Partnership Program?

The mission of the Golden Isles CVB is to promote the Golden Isles — St. Simons Island, Sea Island, Jekyll Island, Little St. Simons Island and the port city of Brunswick — to become a nationally recognized resort destination and to advocate for the best quality visitor experience and to protect the economic sustainability of the community. The CVB not only markets the destination as a whole, but we approach our marketing and investments with a "Community First" perspective, reinvesting your partnership contributions back into our community. View a list of current Premium Partnership tiered inclusions and benefits here.

What time of year can I sign up to become a partner?

We keep Premium Partnership opportunities open year-round. However, several of the benefits are tied to Visitor Guide advertising. In order to be included in the Visitor Guide grids or sign up for a Visitor Guide ad, commitments must be made by August 1 of the prior year (for example, for a 2024 partnership, your application must be completed by August 1, 2023).

How can I display my brochures in your Welcome Centers?

Partners receive priority placement and distribution in our St. Simons Island and I-95 Welcome Centers. The centers are open 7 days a week with dedicated staff who are always eager to assist visitors with collateral, directions, and recommendations. Submitted brochures are required to meet CVB sizing and branding standards. Partners are responsible for supplying the Welcome Centers with appropriate inventory throughout the year.
